Fair Oaks Farm

I can't even remember when we went to Fair Oaks Farm. Wait, it was Spring Break so a few weeks before Easter. Aimee and I are going back - ALONE! All we wanted to do was see a baby cow being born but the kids just wouldn't cooperate. You know how it goes. :)

Ben "milking" the pretend cow.

This whole platform rotated. Ben held on and well...

Talon just marched around.

LOVE this one! (How cute is Chloe's pink hat!) This is on the way to watch the baby cow being born. These guys were excited. Owen and Talon, not so much!

Craziness!

Yes, we're still here! Crazy busy and I can't find my USB cord for my camera. I think it was used as a hose for one of my firefighters. Arrgghh! So these are just some recent random pictures of my crazy boys!

Where's Beavis?

1st treat of the season from the ice cream girl.
I actually had to throw them in the van and track her down because she went by too fast and they were freaking out because we missed it. Thankfully, we found her on the next block!

Talon's figured out that he just needs to dive in and wrestle back.

More later...........promise!

It's Official!

Here are a few conversations I've had with Simon lately. He's officially smarter than me, I think. :)

He comes into the kitchen the other day...

Simon: "Mom, can I have some juice, s'il vous plaît?"

Me: What?

Simon: repeats himself and says, "s'il vous plaît means 'please' in French."

Me: What?! When did you learn how to say please in French?

Simon: Oh, I learned it from Noddy. (A show on Sprout)

Me: How do you say it again...sill voo plah?

Simon: No, it's sill voo pleh. Pleh, Mom.

Me: Oh, okay. (Wow, I think to myself. Wow!)

We were leaving the library on Tuesday.

Simon went skipping ahead and I said, "Simon, stop at the lines."

He looks at me and says, "Actually Mom, it's called a 'crosswalk'."

"Okay Simon, just stop there please."

Simon comes into the living room on Monday and says, "Mom, do you know what 'unflappable' means?"

Me: "Um, no."

Simon: "Well, it means that you don't something upset you."

Me: "Well, that makes sense."

Gotta love Pinky Dinky Doo. She's one smart little girl. :)
