Here are a few conversations I've had with Simon lately. He's officially smarter than me, I think. :)
He comes into the kitchen the other day...
Simon: "Mom, can I have some juice, s'il vous plaît?"
Me: What?
Simon: repeats himself and says, "s'il vous plaît means 'please' in French."
Me: What?! When did you learn how to say please in French?
Simon: Oh, I learned it from Noddy. (A show on Sprout)
Me: How do you say it again...sill voo plah?
Simon: No, it's sill voo pleh. Pleh, Mom.
Me: Oh, okay. (Wow, I think to myself. Wow!)

We were leaving the library on Tuesday.
Simon went skipping ahead and I said, "Simon, stop at the lines."
He looks at me and says, "Actually Mom, it's called a 'crosswalk'."
"Okay Simon, just stop there please."

Simon comes into the living room on Monday and says, "Mom, do you know what 'unflappable' means?"
Me: "Um, no."
Simon: "Well, it means that you don't something upset you."
Me: "Well, that makes sense."
Gotta love Pinky Dinky Doo. She's one smart little girl. :)
