Did you know that according to BizarreAmericanHoliday's website it's National Potato Day? Good thing I planned on making double-baked potatoes with our steaks for dinner tonight! :)
I happened to check out YouthforChrist's daily devos page yesterday (in between cleaning up poop and puke - ick!!) This was 2 days after the pastor at a church we've been visiting preached at me (ever have that?) about almost the same thing. I was pretty amazed because I've been asking the Lord for help in this area. So I guess all I can say is that I'm grateful to God for pointing it out and speaking to my heart - once again!
Here's the part that really spoke to me: "When we feel overwhelmed by a problem, feeling sorry for ourselves will only increase feelings of hopelessness; but crying out to God will turn our attention to the only one who can really help."
